The whistle top to this cane is made from silver marked 900 and probably French. The handle is tooled to resemble grained leather and has bands of black decoration. The whistle simply pulls out from the handle and may be used immediately for such uses as to hail a cab or call for help. The shaft is Malacca and the ferrule is two part metal.
