A very good carving of a wild boar with dangerous tusks and an alert expression. The wooden carving is of great quality with the animal captured in a menacing but endearing pose.  The eyes are truly exceptional,  bright and focused, the snout in use!  The carving is sympathetically silver mounted with what appears to be a decorated collar to an ash shaft with a further silver band to it
