Ivory Horse with Cage Work Bridle

A very large scale ivory carving of a race horse with silver “cage-work” bridle.  A very rare stick for any collection. The finely carved thoroughbred is full of fire in a galloping pose with ears back and nostrils flared.  The bridle is very well made with a level of buckle and button detail not usually seen. Mounted on a gold collar with a rubbed makers mark the last three letters perhaps  “ble”. The handle size 5 x 2 inches and is mounted on a full bark Malacca with ivory ferrule.
